Rashford Eyes Barcelona Move After Agent Switch

Marcus Rashford could be on his way out of Manchester United after reportedly switching agents to facilitate a summer move to Barcelona. The 27-year-old, currently on loan at Aston Villa, has impressed under Unai Emery, reigniting interest from top European clubs after a dip in form at Old Trafford.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Rashford is now represented by Pini Zahavi, a high-profile agent with strong links to Barcelona. Zahavi also represents Barca coach Hansi Flick and striker Robert Lewandowski, which could help smooth the path for a deal.

Barcelona, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Inter Milan this week, are looking to refresh their attack. With Lewandowski now 36 and struggling with injuries, Rashford’s pace and ability to play both wide and centrally could offer Flick a valuable option alongside breakout star Lamine Yamal.

Meanwhile, United may benefit from Rashford’s departure financially. As a homegrown player, his transfer would count as pure profit under financial fair play rules. This could free up funds for manager Ruben Amorim, whose side sits 15th in the league and has scored just 42 goals in 35 games. Targets like Napoli’s Victor Osimhen or Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap could be on the radar as replacements.

Rashford’s next move could mark a key turning point for both his career and Manchester United’s rebuild.
