Ronaldo, Felix Shine in Al Nassr’s 2-1 Super Cup Win

Al Nassr secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final at Hong Kong Stadium, with Ronaldo setting Joao Felix up for an easy tap in ensured their advancing to the final despite playing with 10 men for much of the match.
The game exploded early with Sadio Mane opening the scoring in the 10th minute for Al Nassr. Al Ittihad responded quickly, as Steven Bergwijn equalized just five minutes later. Tensions rose when Mané was sent off late in the first half for a foul on the goalkeeper, leaving Al Nassr at a numerical disadvantage.
In the second half, Joao Félix restored Al Nassr’s lead around the 60th minute with a clinical finish, assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo, following a VAR review that confirmed the goal. That was his first goal since joining Al Nassr from Chelsea this summer.
Ronaldo’s creative play and leadership shone through, while Félix’s strike proved decisive despite a later disallowed goal. Al Ittihad pushed hard but couldn’t breach Al Nassr’s resilient defence.
Al Nassr will face the winner of Al Ahli vs Al Qadsiah in the final.
