Wolves have submitted official bid to Getafe worth €20m for Christantus Uche. Negotiations underway to get deal done as they want new striker quickly.

Wolves’ start to the new Premier League campaign has been far from ideal, losing 4-0 at home against Manchester City in their opening match, before falling short once again in a 1-0 defeat at AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Vitor Pereira has since made it clear he still wants to make several new additions to the squad, with the manager confirming the club is currently working on a number of deals.

Christantus Uche is attracting widespread interest from the Premier League, with Sunderland, Burnley and Leeds United also keen.

Getafe will need to seal this deal as fast as possible due to financial difficulties and the need to register new signings.
