Official: Manchester United Agree Deal to Sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford
Manchester United have reached a full agreement with Brentford to sign winger Bryan Mbeumo in a deal worth £70 million total — £65 million guaranteed plus £5 million in add-ons.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the deal with his trademark “Here we go!”, signaling the transfer is done and only pending official club announcements.
The Red Devils had two previous bids rejected before finally meeting Brentford’s asking price. Mbeumo, who was instrumental for Brentford last season with 20 goals and 7 assists, is expected to join United’s pre-season tour in the U.S.
Brentford are already working on signing Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town as a direct replacement for Mbeumo.
The transfer marks Manchester United’s latest major move under INEOS sporting leadership as they continue a summer rebuild.
