Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea on an improved loan-to-buy deal. The two clubs are working on the finer details, Standard Sport understands, which will see Bayern pay a £14.3million loan fee, with a conditional obligation to buy for £56.3m. Talks progressed on Deadline Day, with Jackson still in Munich after flying from London to undergo a medical on Saturday. Bayern had agreed to a £13m loan fee, plus an option to buy, only to see Chelsea cancel the deal following an injury to Liam Delap which left Joao Pedro as the club’s only fit striker. Jackson had only just landed in Munich ahead of his medical when he was told he must return to London, but his agents dug their heels in and a deal has now been resurrected. Chelsea have instead recalled Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland. Earlier on deadline day, Jackson’s agent Ali Barat said in a statement: “Nico was ready. Bayern was ready. We were all aligned on a world-class project. For the agreement to be withdrawn at the final moment is deeply frustrating. As ‘Sky’ and ‘Fabrizio Romano’ just confirmed, the Hanseatic League is borrowing Victor Boniface from Bayer 04 Leverkusen until 2026. Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign England centre-back Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace. The 25-year-old will complete the formalities of his move, including a medical, in London on Monday before signing a long-term contract with the Premier League champions. The deal was agreed after the clubs reached a compromise on the fee for Guehi, with Liverpool having originally tabled an offer of £35m, plus a 10 percent sell-on clause. Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, sources have told ESPN. The 26-year-old is now expected to travel to London to undergo a medical and complete his move before Monday’s deadline. Sources say the agreement contains no option or obligation to make the switch permanent. Kolo Muani’s arrival would provide competition for Richarlison and Dominic Solanke in the centre-forward position while the France international can also play out wide. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus and was in talks over a permanent move to Italy but those negotiations collapsed over the weekend, creating an opportunity for Spurs to pounce. Manchester United have agreed a deal in the region of £18.2m to sign Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens, the 23-year-old will sign a five-year deal at the club and is on the way to Manchester to finalise his move. United looked at other options, including Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, but after much deliberation and negotiation, it was decided Lammens is the right choice for the club moving forward. As it stands, United are expected to move forward with four goalkeepers, adding Lammens to their current group of Altay Bayindir, Andre Onana and Tom Heaton. However, the windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia are open until September 11 and 10, respectively.
